A visit to the legendary Armenistis Lighthouse
The Armenistis Lighthouse stands proudly in one of the northernmost parts of the island. Although abandoned today (in the sense that there is no lighthouse keeper), it is a pole of attraction for visitors to the island, as its location offers a unique view and opportunities for many impressive photographs.
Movie night under the stars at the summer open-air Cine Manto
In the heart of Mykonos, apart from bars, restaurants, hotels, and shops, you will find a small oasis, an summer open-air cinema. Privé dives in Kapari
A hidden paradise with clear waters and fine, golden sand is waiting for you to discover it! We’re talking about the unorganized beach of Kapari, located on the western part of the island and offering one of the most beautiful sunsets. You will meet few people there, so it is the ideal choice if you want to go swimming away from the crowds.

Just outside Ano Mera, in the Maou area, you can find a traditional farm called Rizes. It is a fantastic experience that will convince you that Mykonos has much more to offer than just the obvious. There you can wander around the place, learn a lot about Mykonian culture, go horseriding and eat traditional food at the restaurant, which looks like something out of a fairy tale.

The Windmills are the island’s landmark. If you don’t take a walk at least once to admire them, you might as well not have gone to Mykonos. Located in the south of Chora, between the picturesque Alefkandra and the quarter of Niochori, they impress every visitor. Apart from Chora, you can also find Windmills in Ano Mera. Can’t have Mykonos without Super Paradise, can you? Certainly not. If you want to experience Mykonos’ famed fun, for which many people travel across countries to get to the island, all you have to do is visit the renowned beach club. Festivals and tsampouna
Mykonos has many famous festivals. There you can meet the “old” traditional Mykonians who still preserve the customs and traditions of their island. The most well-known festivals take place on June 11 (Festival of Panagia in Tragonisi), June 30 (Festival of the Apostles), July 7 (Festival of Agia Kyriaki in Delos), July 27 (Festival of Agios Panteleimon in Marathi) and August 15 (Festival of Panagia Tourliani).

If you’re on the island on June 10, then you can be there for the opening. Visit to the archaeological site of Delos
Delos is the island that essentially made Mykonos known around the world. This sacred place, with its great historical significance, is like travelling back in time. There are numerous monuments in the archaeological site, such as the Agora of the Hermaists or Competaliasts, the Temple of the Delians (the last and largest of the three temples of Apollo) and the Terrace of the Lions, so leave a day free to go there!

Visit to Panagia Paraportiani
The church of Panagia Paraportiani is one of the most photographed spots of the island, which is why you should definitely visit it. It consists of five smaller churches, with that of Agios Efstathios being at the center, and Agioi Anargyroi, Agios Sozon and Agia Anastasia surrounding it.

You can’t leave the island without going for brunch, so we have the perfect choice for you. Jayont in Ano Mera offers all-day options, but it’s worth a visit in the morning hours. Plus: the place, with its minimalist aesthetic, will win you over just as much.
Traditional breakfast at Bakogias’
It is probably one of the few places in Mykonos that has remained faithful to tradition. It is normally called “Gialos”, however its owner, Dimitris Bakogias, was so beloved on the island that everyone would say, “Let’s go to Bakogias’” and that’s how it got its name. We recommend that you go for breakfast, as you can enjoy a traditional omelette, or later for ouzo and tasty appetizers, made with love and care by the women of the family and the wonderful Vassiliki.
