Mykonos, the Island of the Winds and of celebrities around the world, remains for yet another year the number one choice of all those who wish to enjoy the hot Greek sun, combined with the landscape of the Cyclades and the premium entertainment. After all, Mykonos is the ideal place to enjoy the famous nightlife, with restaurants and clubs that stand out for their aesthetics, luxury and uniqueness. Which are (so far) the new arrivals that come to be added to the map of entertainment and fun on the island? Mykonos Post presents four new suggestions for the summer of 2022.
Ftelia by Pacha

Pacha Group is preparing the new famous club which comes all the way from Ibiza to Mykonos’ Ftelia, and is expected to open in the upcoming summer season. It will be named Ftelia by Pacha and will operate as a beach club in the morning, with sunbeds and service on the beach, while there will also be a restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine and sushi.
The big surprise, however, are going to be the parties, for which the Ibiza club is famous, as it hosts some of the hottest big-name djs. Of the planet. In fact, according to reports, it’s not unlikely to encounter much sought-after Calvin Harris on the island. It, therefore, is an extremely strong addition to -not only- the nightlife of the island.
The total investment exceeds 4,000,000 euros, and according to what’s being said, the budget that has been allocated just for the music “wizards” that will take the decks of the new club is 1,800,000 euros! Also, the club will employ 120 people on 9-hour shifts and everyone will have one day off per week. This is a tactic followed by the club Scorpios as well.
Billionaire

Zannis Frantzeskos and Flavio Briatore bring the Italian businessman’s famous club “Billionaire” to the island. The two businessmen and friends officially shook hands in early February, when Briatore posted a photo of himself and Zannis Frantzeskos on Instagram and at the same time made their intentions known.
Billionaire is one of the best-known brand names in the international jet set, and began its journey from Porto Cervo in Sardinia in 1998. It instantly became the ultimate meeting point for the rich and famous, building its legend on sky-high prices, spectacular shows and theme parties, where Cristal champagnes flowed freely.
This summer they will be flowing in Mykonos, too, where Billionaire will open its gates in Chora, generating, of course, the expected buzz. It will be the fourth club to open, following the first in Sardinia and the next two which operate in Dubai and in Riyadh of Saudi Arabia.
The club will be located in a house in Lakka, a stone’s throw away from Matogiannia, and the entire investment is expected to exceed 3 million euros, so that the end result will be what the two partners desire for their new venture.
Byblos

Inside Chora, preparations are in full swing for Byblos Mykonos restaurant, a new gastronomic arrival with influences from Peru and Japan. The restaurant is expected to open its doors in May 2022 and steal the show, taking its guests on a journey of flavors and sensations, through modern fusion dishes, impressive drinks and unforgettable parties.
The mind behind the new venture is entrepreneur Konstantinos Gavelas, who joins forces with executive chef Thanos Stasinos and top sommelier Nikolas Giannopoulos, to create a new culinary destination that will leave its mark on the gastronomic map of Mykonos.
But Byblos is also expected to impress with its design. The construction and decoration of the place was undertaken by experienced designer George Panteloukas and GJP Design & Construction, who are expected to deliver an excellent result. Their main goal is to convey to visitors the mystical aura and luxurious finesse that people look for in a true Mykonian summer from the very first moment. In fact, according to early information, there is an order for 6-meter tall purple wild bougainvilleas that will be delivered by truck from Spain.
Bagatelle

The famous French lounge restaurant “Bagatelle”, with branches from New York and London to Dubai, opens this summer in Mykonos. The creation of French entrepreneurs Rémi Laba and Aymeric Clemente is going to take shape in the Fabrika – Agios Charalampis area, following an agreement between the two and Mykonian businessman Florios Asimomytis. The latter also owns the property that will house the famous French restaurant.
The 2.5 hectare garden surrounding the restaurant and lounge area, will service 1.000 people, including 300 seated, will have 11 toilets, a beach and a dock for speedboats that will approach Bagatelle by sea. In fact, it will not only offer food and entertainment, but will also be the ideal setting for wedding ceremonies and parties, given that the chapel of Agios Charalampos is right next to the restaurant and behind the Windmills.
The project aims to reinstate the glamour and luxury in Mykonos’ Chora, by creating a setting similar to that of the mythical “Caprice” era. The spot is idyllic, overlooking the Aegean Sea, while the extraordinary sunset with Delos in the background will offer unforgettable moments to those who put Bagatelle on their favorites list.
